Dream

You say you gotta dream,
one that's so big, it's almost unreal.
"But I'm going make it" you say, "I'm going to become my dream."
So you continue your dream,
and it gets bigger,
and bigger,
and bigger yet.
You go through life relying on that dream, continuously telling yourself that your going to make it along the way.

It's funny how one can get so attached to something so fictional.

"That's it!" you say, "Today is where I begin!"
But where do you start?

I'm on a road to no where,
and yea know what,
I'm fine with it.
It's all part of the dream.

I Get It.

Let you put a lyric to your name,
just to tell me how you feel.
Let you make a pouting face,
just to show me what I did.
Let you walk with your head held low,
just to prove that you are hurt,
Let you never say real words,
just so I can hear your sorrow.

I was hurt to,
I get it.

Let me sing a happy tune,
just to tell you I am strong,
Let me smile all the time,
just to show you I'm not bothered.
Let me walk with my head held high,
just to prove that you can too,
Let me say words that are real,
just so you can hear the truth.

I was hurt to,
I get it.

Poor Orange.

I feel bad for the word, 'orange'.
It has no one to rhyme with.
'Cat' has a whole bunch,
like 'bat', 'mat', 'pat', 'shat',
'combat', 'wool hat', 'Spencer Pratt'...
and then there is 'hen',
she's got 'then' and 'men' and 'ballpoint pen',
'Glen', 'zen', 'again', 'AMEN!'
You gotta have some pity for the guy,
all alone in the "no rhyme" zone.
it is definitely a loner.
poor orange.
