Heavenly Fall

Slowly.
Slowly we see it falling.
It rushes to the ground as if that's where it belongs.
Should we rush into each others arms?
Carefully,
carefully it graces our moronic sight,
Ever gently we admire it's glow,
that is something I will never know.

So tell me, did you let the moon go by,
without a single chance to give it any time to adjust,
maybe unwind?
Well, that is everything on my mind

Whisper,
just so it can't hear,
all the puzzling things you have to say,
you don't want to make someone else go away.
Listen,
maybe listen to the cries you hear from it's peak.
It is hurting from it's heavenly fall.
Are you getting any of this at all?

So tell me, did you let the moon go by,
without a single chance to give it any time to adjust,
maybe unwind?
Well, that is everything on my mind.
Did you think that you had all the wise,
and did you think that love is only blind to the ones
who cannot decide?
Cause this is all that is on my mind.

Stand.
We stand waiting for a change,
maybe change is not what is needed.
Maybe what's staying is what's unheeded.
Watch,
watch as the moon says goodbye.
Does it remind you of a time...
